Charlie, it dey there!…Sarkodie was a budding musician with the potential to become one of the biggest artists in Ghana and beyond. At the time, however, the future looked uncertain, and his way through the maze of life still appeared too foggy to predict. Success was not guaranteed. He was still living with his mother and was not ready to carry a burden while he was being carried by his mother. “I wouldn’t call what had developed between us a serious relationship. I gravitated toward people in the music industry. For the longest time in my life, music was my getaway from all the unpleasant things life threw at me. So, I liked his talent. We started talking and got close. Closer,” parts of the book say.

The track, titled ‘Try Me,’ hit the airwaves on Wednesday, and it immediately became the talk of the town as Sarkodie vehemently denies ever pressuring Yvonne Nelson to have an abortion.

Instead, he revealed that it was Yvonne Nelson who made her decision to terminate the pregnancy by making schooling her number one priority.

Sarkodie went further to reveal his initial doubts about Yvonne’s pregnancy claims.

Adding another layer to the controversy, Sarkodie suggests that he may not have been the only person involved with Yvonne Nelson at the time. This revelation raises doubts about his paternity, challenging the notion that he fathered Yvonne’s child.

Amidst all the seriousness, Sarkodie injects a touch of humor into the situation. He playfully suggests that Yvonne Nelson strategically included him in her memoir to boost book sales—a ploy that appears to have worked since he confesses to obtaining a copy himself.

For those seeking a deeper understanding of the controversy, ‘Try Me’ promises to provide explosive revelations straight from Sarkodie’s mouth.
